The National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the North West, Hon. Garba Datti Muhammad, has congratulated Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima on his re-nomination as vice-presidential candidate of the APC.
Datti, in a statement issued on Wednesday, thanked President Bola Tinubu for taking the right decision in nominating the VP, whom he described as a very loyal, committed, competent, and dependable ally.
He described the action as “a strategic political calculation by the President that will make the 2027 election much easier for the APC to emerge victorious.”
“I sincerely congratulate the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, on his re-nomination by the President. This action by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, is a demonstration of his trust and confidence in the Vice President.
“So far, Nigeria and Nigerians are well pleased with the Vice President for his loyalty and commitment to his fatherland.
“The President has once again displayed his political sagacity with this decision. The APC remains the party to beat in the next general elections.
“May I use this medium to call on the teeming members of our party and every well-meaning Nigerian to continue to support the APC administration as it works tirelessly to deliver on its mandate,” Hon. Datti said.
