Osun State Governor and Accord Party (AP) gubernatorial candidate in the August 15 gubernatorial election, Ademola Adeleke, has once again emphasised his administration’s commitment to non-provocation.
In a statement shared via his X account on Thursday, Adeleke highlighted effective resource management and initiatives to enhance citizens’ well-being as key priorities.
The Governor vowed that “We will oppose, through lawful and democratic means, any efforts to undermine the will of Osun’s residents.”
He extended appreciation to party supporters in Ayedaade Local Government, noting a warm reception for his campaign team.
As the governorship election approaches, Adeleke urged supporters to stay peaceful, vigilant, and united.

He stressed that the best response to intimidation is discipline and high voter turnout, vowing to defend their mandate and continue developing Osun.
“Yesterday in Ayedaade, our campaign team was welcomed by a large crowd of party members and supporters. The energetic atmosphere reaffirmed our community’s strong support for our continuity agenda.
“Our people have shown resilience in the face of repeated provocations. Let me assert once more: we will oppose, through lawful and democratic means, any efforts to undermine the will of Osun’s residents. We will not yield to intimidation, regardless of its source.
“Our government’s achievements are evident across sectors, with impactful projects and prudent resource management improving lives.”
