Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have completed the signing of Nigerian defender Princewill Biweribo Tarabina.
Tarabina joins the Venoms from Nigeria Premier Football League ,NPFL, side Plateau United after putting pen to paper on a two-year contract.
The 23-year-old centre-back scored two goals and provided two assists in 20 league appearances for Plateau United last season.
Before his spell with Plateau United, Tarabina spent four years with fellow NPFL club Bayelsa United.
He becomes Vipers SC’s seventh signing of the summer as the Ugandan champions continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
Lavagne Happy With Defender’s Arrival
Head coach Denis Lavagne expressed his delight at adding the defender to his squad.

“I’m pleased that we have been able to add to our squad with the arrival of Princewill. The club is a great place for him to be and his game will develop further,” Lavagne told the club’s official website.
“He is a young talent, who has experience at a high level, and he will continue to progress by training on a daily basis alongside the experienced centre- backs we have at the club in Hilary Mukundane, Kevin Dayslva and Nicholas Mwere.
Tarabina Ready For Fresh Start
Tarabina is delighted to have joined Vipers SC and is looking forward to starting a new chapter in his career.

“I know Vipers is a great club in Uganda and l know they were League champions last season and we have to defend the title.
