Wikki Tourists Football Club have appointed experienced coach Bala Abubakar Mohammed as their new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The Bauchi-based club announced the appointment as part of efforts to strengthen its technical crew and position the team for a successful campaign in the second-tier league.
A holder of the CAF B Coaching Licence, Bala brings over a decade of coaching experience to Wikki Tourists. He has previously handled several Nigeria Premier Football League clubs, including Lobi Stars, Niger Tornadoes, Katsina United and Doma United, as well as Bauchi-based Zabgai International.
The veteran tactician also boasts national team experience, having served as assistant coach of the Flying Eagles and the Nigeria Olympic team.
Club officials expressed confidence that his appointment would help build a formidable squad capable of achieving the team’s targets in the forthcoming season.
Wikki Tourists are currently intensifying preparations ahead of the 2026/27 NNL campaign as they seek a return to the top flight.
