Man Utd suffer double injury blow ahead of Atletico Madrid clash

Manchester United have suffered a double injury blow ahead of their Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid.

Michael Carrick will be without Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo for the game.

According to Carrick, both players have “physical issues”.

Benjamin Sesko, Patrick Dorgu and Noussair Mazraoui will also be absent from the 23-man squad.

United head into the match looking to build on their impressive start to the Champions League campaign, having cruised to a 4-0 victory over Sabah in their opening game.

Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in their opening fixture.
