Nigeria @66: No Room For Blame Games, Says APGA Media Warriors

As Nigeria celebrates its 66 years of independence, the anniversary is an opportunity for Nigerians to reflect on the journey so far, from the days of independence to the present, as Nigeria aims to re-evaluate the glories and challenges of Nationhood.

As Nigeria celebrates its 66 years of independence, the anniversary is an opportunity for Nigerians to reflect on the journey so far, from the days of independence to the present, as Nigeria aims to re-evaluate those glories and challenges of Nationhood.

The National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors, Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe, made this remark in a statement issued on Thursday to commemorate Nigeria’s Independence Day.

According to him, it is not a time for name-calling or apportioning blame but yet another point of departure for the Nigerian citizenry to continue to keep faith with the country’s leadership as the Nation moves toward self-sustainment.

“There is no longer room for us to continue to lament but for us to work in tandem with the respective leaderships of the states and the country in general towards a greater Nigeria.”

Obigwe contended that apportioning blame on the current leadership in the country is out of place, given the fact that successive administrations in the country tried without end to tackle those challenges head-on before the advent of the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu administration.

He expressed optimism that the efforts being made by the Tinubu administration would surely have multiplier effects on the socioeconomic status of the country.

“Blaming the Tinubu administration is out of place because he came on a rescue mission, and he has hit the ground running, and so far his socioeconomic policies and programs are yielding positive results on the polity of our country.

“Be reminded that successive administrations met these challenges and tried without end to tackle those challenges, but with the administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the saddle, it is a rescue mission and with his Renewed Hope Agenda, in the next four years we would be reaping the bounties of the foundations of the first four years “, he noted.
