Natasha Osawaru, wife of Nigerian music star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has declared her ambition to become President of Nigeria.
Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, made the declaration on Sunday in Benin City, Edo State, during the 92nd birthday celebration of her grandfather, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion.
Addressing her grandfather at the event, the lawmaker expressed confidence in her political future and promised to lead Nigeria someday.

“I promise you that I’ll be the president of this country before you go. And I’ll make you very, very proud,” Osawaru said.
She also urged Nigerians to support her vision for national leadership, expressing hope that she would eventually rise to the highest political office in the country.
Osawaru is currently representing Egor Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, a position she won in the 2023 election.
She initially contested the seat on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before emerging victorious in the supplementary election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on April 15, 2023.
INEC declared her the winner on April 16, 2023, following controversies surrounding the March 18 election in the constituency.
