The Bauchi State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has congratulated Comrade Isaiah Kemje Benjamin on his successful re-election as National President for another three years.
The congratulatory message followed the conclusion of SWAN’s Triennial Delegates Congress in Kaduna State, where Benjamin and other members of the National Executive Council were returned or elected to lead the association.
According to a statement signed by the Bauchi SWAN Chairman, Bala Bawaji, and Secretary, Elizabeth Kah, the outcome of the congress demonstrated delegates’ confidence in Benjamin’s leadership and his commitment to the growth of the association and sports journalism.
The chapter also congratulated all newly elected national officers, expressing optimism that the new leadership would use its mandate to strengthen SWAN and promote professionalism in sports reporting.
It further urged the national leadership to continue initiatives that would enhance the capacity and welfare of sports journalists while contributing to the broader development of sports in Nigeria.
