The Vice Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has said he will not forgive any individual over what he described as betrayal.
Addressing party supporters who paid him a courtesy visit in Kano, Kwankwaso alleged that some individuals he helped to attain political positions, including advisers, commissioners, ambassadors and even a governor, later turned against him politically.
According to him, while he could forgive people who wronged him in the past or might do so in the future, he would find it difficult to forgive those he personally helped to attain political positions but later betrayed his trust.

He said some of them, despite appearing on the ballot paper, chose to support another candidate, describing the action as a betrayal that would not be easily forgotten or forgiven.
Kwankwaso maintained that such actions represented a serious breach of trust, stressing that he could not simply forget or forgive what he described as political betrayal.
“I can forgive those who wronged us in the past, and those who can do it in the future, but don’t think I can forgive those whom I helped to become something and ended up betraying us.
“Some of them became advisers, commissioners, ambassadors and even governor, and decided to vote for Omologo, not us, despite being on the ballot paper,” he said.
