…Sets Up Ward Coordinators
South East Zonal Coordinator, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu Campaign Council and Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Anambra Central District, Sen Uche Ekwunife, has stated that the party is too big to be intimidated by the antics of the opposition parties.
This is even as she boasted that a political party that has 32 Governors ahead of the 2027 general election cannot afford to lose, adding that, with the performance index of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, it is a win-win situation for the party
Addressing the leadership of the party in Anambra Central Senatorial District in Awka, Ekwunife noted that the party had the winning spirit to emerge victorious, adding that the party is better poised and focused to achieve favourable results.
“A political party is a vehicle to get to your destination, and it is the same everywhere, so it is you that will sell your own party for people to vote for your party.
“We have a President who is doing very well and a party that has 32 Governors in Nigeria, a party that has the power of incumbency, a party that is empowering the grassroots; why can’t we win the election?
“We have the capacity to win this election, and we must accept that first of all, and we will not sit back and allow other parties to intimidate us; neither can we be intimidated by them.
“We are in this race to go house to house, door to door, market to market, Town to town, ward to ward, man to man, women to women and youth to youth to win the election.
“Our slogan is top to bottom and bottom to top, and we are running for all positions, and we will win all positions. And we are not singling anybody out, “she said.
Ekwunife announced that the party is setting up ward and polling unit Coordinators to further mobilise and canvass for more supporters.
Speaking earlier, the Zonal Chairman of the party for Central, Chief Augustine Muomaife, noted that the party is being galvanised towards the election, adding that all members should go to their wards and polling units to deliver the party, as, according to him, elections are won at the wards and polling units.
State Secretary of the party, Chief Obi Okpala, noted that the entrance of Ekwunife into the race has sent jitters down the spines of other political parties, adding that the owner of the Senatorial District seat of Anambra Central has come to take over her seat.
